Student Transportation Enters Maryland With Acquisition

Student Transportation, a school bus transportation provider, said it has entered the state of Maryland with the acquisition of Annapolis Bus Company. The company has annual revenue of approximately $8.5 million and the acquisition will add more than 125 revenue vehicles to the company’s existing fleet.

Annapolis Bus holds multiple transportation contracts with the school district, Student Transportation said. The contracts have five-year base terms with seven one-year customer renewals and price increasing components. The school district has approved the transfer of the contract and historically has renewed the contract options. The company also provides service to charter and private schools in the Annapolis area.
